Alanis/Lani
Alanis has always been a creative person. After moving to New York in 2018, they realized how important their enby barber back home in Chicago was to their personal growth. In 2020, they decided to go to barber school to gain agency of their life. Lani likes to do creative cuts and sees haircuts as a collaborative process.

liminal
Sup I’m Liminal I use they/them pronouns. I’ve been told that I’m a barber with strong attention to detail who is very gentle. I love fixing up cuts, whether you’ve gotten a bad one or got a little too confident on your own. If any of that sounds like your vibe come sit in my chair. When I’m not here I’m probably at home playing video games or engaging in one of my many other hobbies.

Lex
I'm Lex Levi (they/them) and I love curls. After many bad haircuts, I found myself buzzing my hair because I couldn't find someone who understood my curls. Less than a year later, I became a licensed barber. I cut curls dry and approach curly hair sculpturally. I also love gender affirming haircuts of all kinds for all ages. And creative cuts! I coined the term "gravy boat" for a bowl cut that comes to a point in the back. I am both proud and ashamed of this fact. Come at me with your weird ideas. I offer Pay What You Wish haircuts Tuesday-Friday at 4pm (which you can book at this link here)

Ren
Hi I’m Ren, a genderless blob of a human. I prefer my name over pronouns, but if you must they/he feels cuter then she. I have a background in textiles and often translate that into the context of cutting hair. I love creating lived in haircuts with lots of texture and shape using a variety of tools including razor, scissors, and clippers. When I’m not cutting hair I’m probably DIYing some new project or running around with my two dogs, Doug and Pigeon.
