Covid Safety
All Mutiny barbers are vaccinated and regularly take at home and/or PCR Covid-19 tests.
We do not require clients to provide proof of vaccination because we require all clients to remain masked within the shop.
We ask clients to wear KN95s or equivalent and have masks available in a box on our door handle. If you do not have a mask and our box has run out, please wait in the hallway until a barber can provide you with one.
In the event of a Covid-19 exposure, please wait 5 days from the exposure AND test negative before coming to Mutiny for a haircut. We waive cancellation fees when the cancellation is due to Covid. We appreciate you helping to keep us safe.
If a Mutiny barber tests positive for Covid-19, the barber will wait at least 10 days from the positive test and receive a negative rapid test before returning to workIf a Mutiny barber tests positive for COVID, we consider that an exposure for another barber if one or both have been unmasked around each other for any amount of time. Anyone exposed will wait 5 days from exposure and test negative before returning to Mutiny.
If a Mutiny barber tests positive, we consider that a Covid-19 exposure for the rest of the barbers in the shop. The exposed barbers will wait 5 days from exposure and test negative before returning to Mutiny.
Please note that while the barbers try to stay masked in the space while other barbers are present, they may unmask to eat lunch and/or when no one is present. Our laundry service does not masks and occasionally enters the studio.
If you are high risk for Covid-19 and would like a haircut when there is no one else in the studio, please contact queers@mutiny.gay to schedule
We have a HEPA air filter system in the waiting room and a AirFanta 3 Pro in the cutting room.
